Here's a second version of The Last Guitarist logo I did at the start of October. The website still isn't ready but be sure I'll tell you when it is, I know it's gonna be soon. P.S. Merry bloody Christmas etc!
Here's a bulldog dressed up as a pirate, come and see the Golden Harvest Ink exhibition and Beast and Am Eri Cans and Runners and have a bevy n tha. come the night before and see WCOLT, and come the night before that one and see Drum Eyes and Stignoise and Tarpey and me doing an extra special christmas Spirit Animals set.
(edit: I just realised that this and the previous poster are pretty much the same colours, obviously the oncoming Christmas onslaught is having an effect on me!)
Here is my submission to the EXHIBITION of the GIG of the EXHIBITION of the GIG, a GIG that also playing as 2 of 6 hands in Trouble With Books, the last Exhibition/Gig was amazing, so this one will equally be bloody amazing so come and see it. Loads of lovely folkness from the nicest of nice to the bleakest of bleak.
Also thank you for those that came to look at my drawings or take any home from the in REAL LIFE 3D SPECTACULAR style at DDTD on Friday.

Right, Me and the missus have Vimto ice pops and Mad Men is in the DVD player so I'm doing one, bye!!! come and look at my shit in REAL 3D LIFE!
Do you like searing noise and feedback and general musical idiocy like me? Well then. The Last Guitarist . Com will soon be providing the UK with loads of amazing pedals from some of the best handmade ridiculous pedal makers available, like the Dwarfcraft Eau Claire Thunder I got from him. Check it out, email him and ask him what he has, he said he's got Harmonic Perculator clones that look and sound just like that poker players one.
The INTERNATIONAL return! and Breaking Colts finally come to Liverpool. This gig is going to be really good, I'd advise you come. Especially with the promise of drinks, a record player, some chairs, smoking rea, darts, etc. Too good!
Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp return to Liverpool!! and you lovely people get a chance to buy the new Stig/Barberos split 12" vinyl on the same night! and see loads of other idiots making rackets in nice or horrible ways, I've got another 3 posters to do so expect more posters this week!!!
This is one of four pictures for Bido Lito #2, for an article about Ex Easter Island Head and Liverpool's 'avant-garde' types. I've heard it's out on the 6th of June, but I can't remember to be honest, they put up PDFs of the magazine on the website if you fancy a look at it and aren't lucky/unlucky enough to live in the Mersey Delta.
New Liverpool based music magazine Bido Lito asked me to do some illustration to go with an interview/live review of Mugstar for their debut issue in May, so here it is, after a couple of hours geeking out wildly at the Nasa Astromony Picture of the day this hit me square between the eyes. So pick up a copy of Bido Lito and tear my picture out and put it on your fridge!
Will this get past The Bluecoat's marketing people without them wanting to vigorous lash arial fonts all over my shit, I'll keep you informed. I've got no idea where all this science double helix stuff came from.
Here is a drawing what I did for POSTMUSIC's upcoming and totally excellent DVD of shit hot alternative musical acts playing live in a derelict cinema that is steeped in a history of the macabre, dead in the heart of Liverpool. Those who attended the Goooooooooremont Halloween Show will know where I'm on about.
There is loads of bands on the DVD including: Stig Noise, The International, Mugstar, a.P.A.t.T., Beast, Action Beat, Indica Ritual, Sidney Baileys No Good Punchin' Clowns, Barbieshop, Barberos, Trouble with Books, Zombina and The Skeletones, Hot Club De Paris, errr probably more...
Anyway, I just wanted to post something, cause I haven't in an age. DVD is out this year, I've seen a fair bit of it, it looks and sounds boss!
Mugstar new album launch on the 27th March. Nice challenging poster, for me atleast. See you in the nodding trance-like state at the front. First 20 people in get a free Mugstar tshirt, so get down early!
Hello the very few people who will see this. this entry is outside of the usual realms of this word and picture hole cause I'm not advertising a gig.
This one is about the small obsession I have with one of Liverpool's most odd pieces of architecture -In the churchyard of the derelict St. Andrew's Church of Scotland on Roscoe St is a pyramid to James Mackenzie which was built in 1868. Mackenzie was a railway contractor and reputed to have been an avid gambler. Folklore has it that he wished to be buried sitting upright at a card table with a winning hand, after losing his soul in a card game with the Devil who said he'd collect it once he was dead and buried.
So yeah, here is my handywork inspired by that story.
PNEU RETURN!!!!! And I'm mighty happy to be doing another poster for them! As always with the 'I Am Your Barber's the brief is STAR WARS, so there you have it. #5 of 2010, got another booked, and some ideas brewing in my head. TTFN.
Second poster of 2010, done the day after the first, badly need to get myself to bed. Anyway, the inspiration for this comes from me snapping the handle off the toilet on New Years Eve, and this evening scouring B&Q for a replacement only to find that ugly one you see fitted above, wow! my life is so exciting these days.
Happy 2010, year of immense opportunity poverty. This first poster of the year followed a failed attempt at some arty nonsense I should never have attempted, featuring my girlfriends goldfish. Gig will be amazing, get on down, blah blah blah.
